How will you ship my bike?

Your bike will be shipping in the back of one of our enclosed haulers and it will be soft tied to the floor.

In some cases your bike will be placed on a motorcycle skid and strapped down with 4 soft ties. It will be transported in the back of an enclosed trailer. Loading docks are unnecessary since our trucks have lift gates.

How long is the transit time?

Transit time is usually about 8-10 business days from the time of pick up. Depending on the origin and destination, the transit could take 12-14 business days.

How long will it take for you to get my bike picked up?

We can usually pick up from most locations within a couple of days to a week from when you book your motorcycle with us.

Can I ship extra parts, bags or boxes with the bike?

No. Any paperwork, keys, boxes, or spare parts need to be shipped separately. Saddlebags and windshields can stay on the bike and helmets may be shipped as long as they are securely strapped to the bike. Just make sure that it is noted on the bill of lading that a helmet is attached to the bike.

What do I need to do to get my bike ready for shipping?

Make sure you wash the bike, so that you and your driver can do a thorough inspection. The gas needs to be drained down to reserve, or as low as possible and empty all belongings from the saddlebags. The bike also needs to be unlocked so that the driver can roll the bike onto the truck and onto the skid. Make sure you keep a set of keys and give the driver a set as well.

How can I pay for the shipping?

All payments must be made to our office with certified funds or by credit card. 

Will I be notified before the pick up and delivery?

The driver will try to call the 24 hours before the pick up and delivery, but it could be as late as the morning of. He will try to give about a 4-hour window, but you must allow the business day! The drivers try to make the time frame that they tell you, but sometimes they may run late due to traffic, weather, or other circumstances.
